The following occurred in and around Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows, CA.
Cliffs of the story. Car died. Electramotive wheel came off pulley at 6700 rpm. Can't move car. Searched for wheel with Samaritan's Alvin, Dan, Kurt. Wheel not found. Wheel found and in bad shape. Tom D. lends a kind hand and tows broken car back into town. Shipment of new wheel overnight does not happen. Found machine shop in Orland willing to machine the next day. Towed car to shop at 8am the next day. Wait for 6 hours while it's made. Back on the road. Simple. Rest of Shasta fun as usual.
