Welcome to my mitsubishi Turbo conversion.
I'm currently converting a Mitsubishi Triton Tray back ute to a full Mighty Max body, 2L Sirius DASH Turbo (4G63BT).
Some of you may not know what this is? So i'll tell you. The Mitsubishi Siruis DASH turbo motor came out in the late 80's in the Starion and Cordia models. They are a 2L 4cyl EFI Turbo motor, These motors pioneered the racing industry way back then, (Mainly the off road rally). The only competition for Sirius was the Nissan Skyline RB30 Turbo 6cyl. Mitsubishi still use the same Block to date in all there 4cyl cars inc. the Evo Lancer all they have done is improved on the origonal design.

You may ask, Why a Mighty Max???
Well why not. I want to be different, It's all about Individuality.

So i guess you want to see where i'm up to hey...

This is the "MAX" Lost_The_Plot's 1990 Mitsubishi Mighty Max

try adding a good intercooler....thats the way to get the most power out of a turbo or supercharger package AND improve reliability!

Nice, i've just had an EVO 3 engine installed in my Mitsu Truck. Its got custom manifolds, custom turbo, custom fuel rail and massive fuel system. Bigger injectors, large front mount, gizzmo boost controller, autometer gauges, turbo heatshield, heat wrapping and a custom exhaust. Fair bit of custom work needed as its usually an East/West engine setup in the Evos so to spin it round we needed to modify the thermostat and make up custom engine mounts to bring the engine forward clearing the firewall!! Cant wait to drive it, its gonna be one loose truck!!! Output is around the 230awkw which i think translates to about 300HP at the wheels. In a car that probly only weighs 1000kgs i think its gonna be a weapon! Goodlcuk with ur trucks lads, and keep on modding!!
