Up until recently I hadn't owned a vehicle that required a key for quite a while.
I've had car's in the past, but never took much to the responsibility that comes along with them (I think I ended up spending more on parking tickets and tow fines than I did on gas).
So I take the bus mostly. I like the bus, when it's on time.
And if it's not too far (and mostly down hill) I'll ride my skateboard.
I am fascinated by the idea of cars, the physics involved, the advances in engineering since the invention of the wheel, I like to watch races (hell, I even like to race myself) but as far as daily transportation to and from work... I think there's better alternatives. Then again, aside from my full time job, I'm an artist and a T-shirt designer so I have a very real need to shuttle things from A to B.
I also have a tendency to wreck cars!
But all things in consideration I decided it was time to pick up some reliable transport. And my mode of choice... a 2005 Scion xB.
(more pictures to come)
This toaster is in pristine condition. The previous owner used seat covers from day one, and even had floor mats on top of the factory floor mats, so the upholstery is immaculate.
The thing was already sitting on Enkei's when I picked it up, so I'm going to leave those on. It also came with a Megan strut bar and an after market tint. There's a ground kit on it, but I'm not sure whether that's factory or not.
The first mods I have planned are putting in a Bazooka tube and a custom made shift knob (more on this once I start construction on it). Probably followed by a cold air intake.
Fun fact of the day: No single raindrop believes it is to blame for the flood.
