Jay's Saab 9-5 Aero Edition

Hey thanks for checking out my '99 Saab 9-5 Aero. The car has full Eibach suspension, 17inch BBS Wheels, After Market Saab Exhaust, and a unique custom grill kit. I'm looking to get some information about "Blow Off" or a "Diverter Valve" for the turbo. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks for Lookin!

well your aero has a blow off valve already... you should be fine with it untill you hit like 300+ hp or around 90,000 miles. you can get a new one like a forge dump valve from genuinesaab.com that looks better and will handle higher psi (turbo upgrade anyone?) but other than that your fine. anything else you want to know?

It's really too bad that they didn't make aero's in 99, because if they did you might be able to say you had a nice car. Unfortunately, your car is an SE my friend. I agree with iszach, "nice try." Still a very nice SE. I'm getting the 17" BBS soon. ANd don't even try to DIY clear corners, me and my friend both tried on our 9-5's and it broke the lenses, even with a heated utensil and a steady hand. Just buy the clears and sell your OEM's on ebay.

Nice. Looking good. Those clear corners you are interested in can be found on www.genuinesaab.com You can also clear out your existing corners by using an exacto knife, popping off the lens (very carefully so you don't crack it, popping off the orange reflector (its only glued to the inside) and pulling it out.) It doesn't look as good as the real thing in my opinion though. Join us over at www.saabcentral.com/forums. There are a bunch of people over there who can help with info about things like I just mentioned. --Matt
