Help me!Working on my 85 Capri GS body. I need references for rubber window moldings. Sun ate mine (hope it chokes). Also need console top. I keep losing the right rear wheel bearing (God damn stupid no-inner-race design). I lost the first one at 48,000 miles (just before warranty died). The differential bearings go with it. The former might be oil loss in the California freeway cloverleafs. Any thoughts?Three times a capacitor in the radio punched through and took a transformer with it. It still plays but the station display is blank. The last time I intended to put a trim cap across it but didn't do it. Now I can't find a replacement transformer. Have any sources? The best I got was about about 135 mph. Is that normal (car's all stock)?Tips: I'm running Tokiko front struts. Not too long I'll get my second free pair, they've a lifetime garantee (poor Tokiko, I've got 330,000 miles on the car and I'm keeping it). I use Mustang GT rear shocks. The car corners flat but rides very hard (good trade for me). Bailed on the Gaterbacks after second set. They break suddenly in a slide (I was told they need to be hot for good traction). Found Fulda, Fawken, and now Perrelli V's are half the price and just as good, or better. Bridgestone's come up in the world and may also perform well at a good price. Toyos and Yokahamas ran great but cost a lot and lasted only 15,000 miles. That was long ago. They may wear better now.
