I NO LONGER OWN THIS CAR, BUT I MISS IT DEARLY, SO THIS IS GONNA STAY SOMEWHAT ACTIVE!

This is my UNRESTORED 1970 Ford Maverick. My father actually GAVE me this beauty as a summer car...and I love it. It's gonna suck when I have to part with it for winter :-( It has only MINOR body damage, and NONE of the scratches or dents are from me...the old lady that owned this car before my dad did seemed to be a magnet to shopping carts and stop signs. There has been a significant amount of body work done to it on the right side where it seems to have been in an accident...the body work looks HORRIBLE and I hope to get it painted soon. The car has just rolled over 40,000 miles...so it still has TONS of life left in her. But I dont even do 1000 miles every summer...I hate to put the miles on my baby...I call her my 'First Love' cuz she's never done me wrong, always been loyal, and I can ride her whenever I want!

These next 4 pics were professionally taken in my front/side yard by my mother and her expertise in digital photography. I had just finished mowing the lawn and thought it looked nice...so I washed and waxed up my car...parked it in front of that tree...and then called my mother out and asked her to take some pics of me in my car...so she did! And here they are:

Generally a front view of me in my car. I had some halogen lights put in her so that I can see better going back and forth between my night-time job and home. The old original yellow lights just wouldnt cut it. Also, before dad bought this car, the front Maverick emblem was missing and the grille was cracked. So we bought a new grille...WITH THE EMBLEM ATTACHED...$45 on eBay baby!
Mostly a side view of me in my car...this is her good side. The bad body work is coming...*SIGH* Everyone seems to love those hubcaps too...hell...I DO!!!!
Getting closer to the bad side...but here...we have some pics of her side at an angle...and that BEAUTIFUL rear end. I always had a thing for chrome. And you CANNOT find true chrome on new cars these days. HELL MAN...there's more chrome on my rear bumper than there is on any of today's cars!!!! But there she is...
:-( Here's the side I hate. The rear quarter-panel on this side has been replaced and repainted along with the door on this side. It's not that obvious until you get within 20 feet of the car. But that dont stop me from loving this car. You'll ALWAYS love your first car the most.
