Interior:
The entire interior has been overhauled from the carpet to the headliner! The carpet is new charcoal color pile material, and the floor mats are black with custom embroidering. The stock bench seat was removed to make way for 1998 Z-28 bucket seats. 12seccamino's 1985 Chevrolet El CaminoThe seats, door panels, headliner, and sunvisors were all recovered in grey velour and tweed, seperated by purple vinyl pipeing. I designed the interior and Falls Automotive in NJ did the stiching. The seats are embroidered with Chevy "Bowties", and SS emblems in the headrest to set them apart. I added a center console from an 87 Monte Carlo, and custom fit a B&M Hammer shifter within the console. The steering column shifter was removed; a Grant steering wheel with billet adapter was installed, along with Billet Specialties column dress-up kit. 12seccamino's 1985 Chevrolet El CaminoThe dash is stock but I got rid of the cheezy wood grain trim and replaced it with polished black trim from an 86 El Camino SS. The silver pinstriping on the trim was replaced with purple striping instead. The factory 1985 gauges were modernized to 1987 style with a 140mph speedometer. The tach w/shift light, and 3 pillar gauges are Autometer Ultra-Light gauges, and custom fit and wired. I also added a Billet Specialties rear view mirror, and third brake light. The stereo system was custom built and upholstered to fit within the car.

Stereo System Upgrades:
The box was custom built by a friend and myself out of 3/4" MDF, and covered in grey velour material to match the interior. The bass is pumped through 2 JL W3 10" subs, powered by a Crossfire 600D (600 watt mono competition amp). The highs and mids are pushed through 3.5" Eclipse coaxials in the dash, Eclipse 5.25" components in Q-logic kick panels, 6"x9" Eclipse point source passive crossover speaker system, and 2" JL Audio Tweeters mounted in the rear pillar. The mid and high power comes from a Crossfire BMF 75.4 competition rated amplifier. The highs/lows/mids are contolled and adjusted by a Crossfire CX23L electronic crossover. You want to talk about about clean signal processing, Crossfire are rediculous quality amps and crossovers! The Headunit is a an Eclipse AV8533 8-volt, Dolby Digital 5.1 indash DVD, with a 7" touch panel. All the wires, distribution block, RCA's, and capacitor are all manufactured by Stinger. This system is no joke, and not cheap! In the little driver's compartement the highs scream, the mids bump, and bass hits! 12seccamino's 1985 Chevrolet El Camino 12seccamino's 1985 Chevrolet El Camino
