big_black_bronco's 1993 Ford Bronco

This is my 1993 Ford Bronco (351)...its got a 9" procomp lift, 36" superswampers, k&n airfilter...leather interior....and I love it...more work is on its way....but right now im too broke...and i have repairs to do after pulling a similar bronco straight up a rock wall about 20ft...tires smokin and all....i kinda forgot about the IFS..o well...straight axles are in the future plans....anywho.....its got a 351 Windsor....stock exhaust, but soon to have full length hooker headers, and flowmaster super40s.... well...ill update more later...here are the pics....o, and ill have some clean pics eventually too, but all i have now is from a camping/4wheeling trip =P....here u go...(not that the paint is not faded, its covered in thick layer of dust....its actually got a decent paint job..new pics soon i hope)

/FLEX!

big_black_bronco's 1993 Ford Bronco
Was on my way in, starting gettin too deep, so i tried pullin back out...didnt work out as i had planned...slippery rocks, no traction in the rear....bad combo...so i had a buddy pull me out....the Toyota 4runner SR5 u see in these pics isnt what pulled me out...it was another buddies bronco....
big_black_bronco's 1993 Ford Bronco
Another view, here you can see the sr5...
big_black_bronco's 1993 Ford Bronco
This is the new Bronco Concept...i like how its kind of retro, but futuristic...in a way it looks like the old late 60s models...but its got a 2.0L diesel..its nice for a 4 cylinder...but its a bronco it should have at least been designed with a 302...o well...they arent making it anyway....maybe theyll come up with something better and actually produce it...

I think that you should go up to at least a 14" Lift with at least 44" tires. Mud Terrains are awesome in the water and on rocks.. Check out my '86 Bronco sometime. I am too broke to add any kind of upgrades to it right now. All i am doing is grinding out the rust and filling the holes with bondo and body filler, then repainting it..

BTW...My suggestion is lower it and cut the fenders up..Keep a low center of gravity is the best idea! I'm fitting 38.5 TSL's on 4 inches of lift..You can see how I cut mine in my pics...Doesn't feel tippy at all on the side slopes but if I was higher it sure would!

You know that the people voting for 14+ inches of lift have never tried to drive something that big through the woods, or even McDonalds drive thru. My friend had a chevy with 19 inches and 44s. Wouldn't fit through most drives and a couple car washes. You are at the perfect hight for some serious off roading. Nice truck man. Keep the off road pictures comming.
