The Dub Magazine Car Show and Concert happened on Sunday August 7, 2005 at the COBO Center in downtown, Detroit. Due to strict rules, the car had to be left overnight at the Cobo Center, and I had to find my way back across to Windsor...
Again like last year, back to Windsor I went. Except this year was way better!
Also saw the movie "Hustle and Flow"... Highly recommended by myself... I really felt this one; it's one of those movies that makes you keep your head up, and leaves you with a positive feeling. You also get the idea that the world's in the palm of your hands, BUT you need to make the right moves in order to get ahead of the game.
This dude stopped to take a peek at my ride in Windsor, Ontario. He also rocked a set of 22's. From what they tell me, Detroit is way ahead of Florida when it comes to the Big Wheel Scene.
Mother-T's room is slightly cleaner then last year, but still considered a dump site by my-self, and the rodents we shared the space with.
Lambo doors, on a Cadillac?? Yeah, and it looks tight! Had gold tints, and Vogue tyres with gold Ashanti Aligator wheels.
An East Coast Ryders shot, sittin' outside the window. "EAT YOUR HEART OUT!"
Here's a shot of Mike Jones, then Twista, from the DUB concert. This show was pretty hype, and the audience looked like they were straight out of the movie "8 mile". Mike Jones, Clipse, Fabolous, Trill ville, Twista, Trick Daddy, Executioners, were all a part of the show. Pretty crazy line-up.
Stopped by the local White Castle after the show for some grub.
