I've got some bad news...The car was totaled on June 26, 2005. 3 days after my birthday!!! An asshole in a 1990 mustang was reckless driving and pulled out in front of me while I was going 85 mph! Needless to say, we hit and I went into a ditch on the left side of the road and hit a tree, and he went into the ditch on the right side and blew up. I wasn't hurt hardly at all, luckily. Just a few scratches and bruises - that's a VW for you! Here are some pics of my car now:
I had the top down when the wreck happened. The windshield was busted too.
This is the inside of my car. As you can see, all the plastic covers on the dash flew off, and the impact pushed the engine and gear shifter back. The shifter actually hit me in the arm and nearly broke it.

This is my '98 VW cabrio GLS. It is candy white, with beige leather interior, and a black cloth top. It's got a 5 spd. transmition, and came with AM/FM & cassette 8 speaker system, but I recently added an 8 CD changer to the trunk to save the factory radio and some cash. She's only got a little 2.0 liter 4 cyl., but you'd be surprised the power it has. And, with 30+ mpg, I can't complain.
The engine was steam cleaned by the previous owner, right before I bought it.
The top goes down automaticly with the push of a button. The GLS comes with a leather boot cover that goes over the top when it's down.
This is the factory radio, as you can see, it's a nice looking one. It's actually a '99 radio, because the car was made in '99, yet is a '98 model.
8 CD changer I had added to the trunk.
This pin stripe isn't standard, it was added by the previous owners. I think it's a nice touch, and breaks up the white a little.
