Hey! Thanks again for the compliments. The new hood weighs about 20 lbs. and I believe the stock hood is about 40 lbs. (not positive though). The FMIC actually already came painted black by APS. It's the 525 APS FMIC. The bigger FMIC is also black or silver. But I REALLY wouldn't recommend getting a FMIC unless your getting a bigger turbo. It causes a bit more lag cuz of the longer tubing the air has to go through. I would suggest a big TMIC, like either an STi TMIC or maybe an APS. But I don't know what you plan on doing as far as performance. But I must admit, the FMIC looks PIIIIIIMP when you open up your hood :) The head unit is an Eclipse 5435 DVD w/ navigation. It's a pimp head unit. But man, your audio setup is gonna be $5 K?? That's a lot, but I'm sure it'll be really nice. I'm not too into audio. Just performance and style mods. But thanks again and keep me posted on your ride :)

Thanks for the comment. I have the APS intake that goes into the fender. I had to get that in order to use the APS 525 FMIC. But as far as performance, I noticed a SMALL amount of lag because of more piping the air has to travel through. But it definitely helps out here in hot ass florida in the summertime. I dyno'd my car and it was 95 deg. in the garage bay of the Subaru dealership! But a great upgrade. Looks awesome under the hood too :)

Hey man!!!! thanks for the kind words. Yes it is a very fun car to drive. Its my everyday driver. But about the sub in the trunk. Its just like any other car. I get rattle but only from where the wing is. Other than that its pretty good. I get about 21 - 24 MPG. Depending if freeway or not. I have a 15 gallon tank and usually get about 280 to 300 miles on one tank. But its worth it. Good luck on getting one bro. BTW nice truck! Very original. I gave you good ratings. Later!
