question, how'd you get your stock honda shift boot to fit the aftermarket shift knob...my '02 civic has this silver plastic piece that fits on top of the shift boot. Did you take yours off?

i'm actually going to try to get my car in to get professionally detailed, the place i'm going to try to take to will do the inside, including steam cleaning carpets, wash and wax the outside, and then do the engine compartment, and they do awesome work, will cost me about $150, i don't konw what to tell you on doing it yourself, i'd rather not ruin my car lol i'm sure you can find tons of resources online though, maybe try some auto message boards and ask around
