This Swinger still has the original paint and no filler in the body.
I picked up the rolling chassis. The body is completely rust free and has very few dents.
The plan is to drop a fuel injected 318 Magnum in it in November. Currently, I'm pulling the slant six K-Frame and much of the front end pieces off to be swapped out with the V-8 K-Frame and disc brake upgrade.
**UPDATE**
These are shots from Nov 04 of the front end upgrade and engine installation. I upgraded from drums to discs on the front and decided to go with a 73+ V-8 K-member with '73 Duster 318 motor mounts.
The engine bay got the POR-15 treatment before we dropped the Magnum in.
Currently, the project is on hold while I finish my 20 year career overseas. I still need new brake lines, rear drums, 4 1/2" bolt pattern rear axles, wheels/tires, and transmission mount. I'm contemplating building up a 340 when I get home.
