Took it to the dyno, again...Had to bump up the timing further. We stopped at 22. The HP # were up, but torque was down. The cam is a higher RPM cam though!
Max Power = 114.1 @ rear wheels (+20%) = 136.92hp @ the fly wheel
136.92hp compared to 135hp from the factory.
Max Torque = 131.3 @ rear wheels (+20%) = 157.56ft-lbs @ the fly wheel
157.56 compared to 160 from the factory...
Max speed ran on dyno was 115 MPH
Changed the balancer and fixed the spark scatter on the distributor.
Car had 2X the endplay it should have!
Now with the cam's overlap, I can run with 15 degrees and the car is happy!
