HELLO AGAIN AND WELCOME TO YET ANOTHER TURISMO PAGE.
THIS IS MY RECENT FIND. A 1987 WITH 26K ORIGINAL MILES. A ONE OWNER CAR FROM NORTH CAROLINA. RESTO1 TURNED OUT TO BE A LITTLE MORE WORK THAN I WANTED TO GET INTO, BUT THIS CAR WAS SO MINT I COULD NOT PASS IT UP, SO I DROVE DOWN TO GET IT AND DROVE IT HOME WITH NO PROBLEMS.

I TOOK THIS CAR TO A LOCAL CAR SHOW ALONG WITH THE RENEGADE AND IT GOT 3RD PLACE IN A UNRESTORED CLASS AND ALL I DID WAS WASH IT AND ARMORALL THE TIRES

NO RUST YET.

THESE NEXT FEW SHOTS SHOW THE ONLY REAL DAMAGE TO THE BODY.

THIS MOULDING HAS A DENT IN IT, BUT I THINK IT CAME FROM THE FACTORY THAT WAY.

STILL HAS THE STICKER FOR UNLEADED GAS, AND A STICKER ON THE BACK WINDOW FROM THE NEW CAR PREP AREA.

I had to upgrade the suspension to KYB shocks and strutts, I tried to get OEM but they were so old the gas leaked out of them. I am going to upgrade to a WEBER non feedback carb and new exhaust system this summer and that should do it. The body work on the fender should be done in a few weeks.

06/08 update.
The fender was repaired and the entire car buffed out. I polished all the trim, repainted the mirrors, front bumper strip and replaced door handle decals. It's lookin almost new, but it will never be perfect, but for a 20 year old car it's good enough for me. A little more body work next year to finish it off. I should have the carb replaced THIS WEEK.

WEBER NON FEEDBACK CARB INSTALLED. DRIVABILTY MUCH BETTER.  NEW 2INCH EXAUST SYSTEM WITH TURBO MUFFLER.   I DECIDED TO PUT  BACK THE FACTORY RALLEY WHEELS WITH A MINT SET OF COOPER COBRA RAISED LETTER TIRES.   NEW PHOTOS  SOON..
