My Supercharged Coupe --- The UK Hyundai Coupe Site See www.hyundaicoupe.info and the forums at forums.hyundaicoupe.info, or find me at www.xorro.co.uk This is my supercharged Coupe. I bought it new in 1998 with a plan to keep it for 3 years...well 6 years on, I still have it. It now has a whole host of modifications, both for appearance and performance, I love it more now than I ever did. I've always tried to do as many of the mods I can myself, the latest being adapting handbrake and shift boots from another car. If you would like to, leave a message in the guest book, oh and its dudette, not dude ;-) The main power maker is the Alpine supercharger which uses an Eaton MP45 compressor. Initially it was making 3-4 psi, but this has now been upped to 6-8psi with help from an Aquamist water injection system and a smaller pulley. The last dyno showed 200bhp and 223nm. Externally I have added a body kit, spoilers and wheels. The best feature is the Studie front bumper and bonnet vent both imported from Korea. Last week I fitted new alloy wheels. Internally, as you can see, I have an Isotta steering wheel. Other interior items include custom blue switches, dials and shift & handbrake boots.
