The '99 Trans Am LS1 front suspension is all set in, leveled off, and sqaured up to the body. Time to start adapting my frame rails to the Trans Am's.

Heres the start on the fenders and boxing in the sides and new frame rails.

I took my car to a professional welder/hotrodder/framer to have him weld everything together and to oversee, alter, and design my new setup with me. This guy has been welding longer than I've been alive. He used to weld '70 Monte Carlo's at Tower Automotive here in Milwaukee on the assembly lines. Imagine welding 163 frames an hour - DANG!! Anyways heres the master doing what he does best.

Here are the making of the wheelwells and the rest of the engine bay.

The plans is to have a coolant tank in the pass side fender there and to only have the cap showing to keep the bay looking neat and clean.

The driver side was left a little more open to put a computer or a fuse box in the corner. NOTE: The battery will be in the rear.
