my setup is being developed by Speed Mafia Performance .. I'm their 2.4L R&d car.. I'm being tuned by trifecta performance which has a large background in GM cars...I
but my curent sponsors are SMP and Trifecta ... both are PHENOMINAL companies to deal with for GM cars.. and about 70% of the credit goes to them.. kevin at SMP made the inital 2.2 procharger kit for his 03-04 ion.. and vince is one of the few people to tune boosted 2.4L cobalts/ ions look to those 2 companies for your boosting needs
tossing the idea back and forth of doing a redline seat swap (has recaro, they're awesome seats but hard to find in good condition)
or just getting a set of corbeau gts II's
orrr maybe some evo seats lol

well unfortunately right now the supercharger if off the car.. there's an issue with the procharger bracket which made it sit on the motor mout... it's started to wear a knotch into the mount so i figured i'd take it off and get it fixed...
i'm going to do some nice finishing touches though when i put it back on this time..
painted piping and a few custom pieces to make everything look a bit more finished under the hood
i'm aslo replacing the maf section because i was getting a lean code because the size of the maf was too big thus screwing up the readings
soo a few things should be ordered coming in soon.. new intake setup will be coming in once it gets back in stock.
also i should be ordering Hptuners and a rear strut bar to firm up the rear end and make it so i can
tune myself once i'm boosted again.. things are coming along.. unfortunetly i'm pushing this back a little as I got put outta work for a bit .. so lack of fund is delaying buying hptuners..
boost is still on schedule though i think

looks like i'm putting boost back on no matter what in less then 11k miles whether it's fully paid off or not haha so hopefully that'll only be like 5 months.. because I have an unvaling i'd like to do in july/ august with another car thats also going procharged..
soo as the time fast approaches some movement in kyles build has begun again... I have a friend who welds T 6061 aluminum so i can weld the piping.. all the supplies will be coming home ... and things wills start being painted gunmetal and such on the spare time...
also some other things have been in development for my build that will make it all the more fun ... stay t00ned

WHELP pay off plan looks like it might be in effect.. I'm now a proud dealer of Trifecta Performance tunes and with the help of Vince at Trifecta I can tune ALOT of GM cars (including 2.2 cobalts ions and G5's) with full data logging for a fraction of the cost of other methods with very cheap updates..
I'm running one of his tunes now and the car feels amazing

intake on its way :D procharger bracket is currently being fixed so once I get everything in.. it's just a matter of aesthetics and reinstalling :D

soo intake installed... ran a 15.08 off boost.. my new personal best :D i'm happy but at the same time i JUST missed 14's so i'm pissed.. really it's just a set of good tires away.. which is good because i'm going to be buying falken RT 615's soon so that should help cut my 60 fts down from 2.4s lol
also I'm hoping to paint a bunch of things tomorrow to make some progress for boost.. all the charge piping couplers, blower and probably valve cover.. well started painting stuff and i happened to be too stupid to remember it was sunday so i couldn't pick up more paint.. sooo i ran out
however I bought the 615's

the video was during part throttle tuning so i was just rolling into 1/2 throttle.. i was leaning out at around 3400 then.. now it's pretty stable

whelp i've replaced the rubber TB coupler.. and did some more tuning with vince.. now i have a 7200 redline as well as no lift shift and launch control.. car feels awesom .. AFR is good all the way up ..
so i hit the track.. and i've concluded I needz more driver mod and a new suspension since I have hardcore rear squat
i ran a 14.315 at 102.02 with a 2.442 60'
well I put a 2.95 pulley on .. i have a bit of belt slip now.. because i didn't buy the smaller belt to go with it .lol i was planning on it but I've been helping a 2.2 ion get procharged by me (he bought my old pulley) and his cars being a PITA so we haven't gotten around to getting / installing a new belt for me ... sometimes the car hits 11 psi.. sometimes 7-8 lol
i'm looking to get a 3" catback for the car.. i have 2 options.. one is 100 bux cheaper then the other .. but it'll probably be ckinda loud.. the second one i know is really nice and very quiet so i'm up in the air
well i have the CTI 3" catback on my car.. and like i suspected it's loud lol so i'm looking into another resonator for it to help quiet it down and mellow it out ..it also killed my low end torque more then expected it feels like.. so i'll probably be going to a 2.55 pulley soon to fix that lol
i'm hoping to finish my suspension soon.. but we'll see when i get in the coilovers lol
suspension is good it looks like... i have my coilovers in.. i need to tighten a few things up though, i put in new sway bar endlinks from overkill extreme motorsports. I had some issues with the car (tensioner arm broke, and battery kept dieing) so the procharger was taken off, it should e back on by the end of the month with the 2.55" pulley on since i fixed everything i think just waiting on ettin 3" piping to make a real intake for the sc instead ofjust having a filter on it and i'm going to make the BOV recirculate, i'll probably get all the piping welded at that time too so it'll be a few hundred bux
.. i need a new stereo now though..the stock one kicked the bucket and thats what was draining my battery
i should also be getting a muffler insert to cut down on some of the harsh tones of the car under WOT as well as quiet it down a bit in general, as well as picking up a new exhaust tip thats a 3.5" slant cut as opposed to the 4" straight thats on there that way it looks like it's stock from the back
i'm all about looking and sounding stock so i'm hoping to trick people lol, i'll probably be making a cover for a procharger so it hides the blower and look even more sleeper when you pop the hood. the recirc BOV would cut down on idle noise with the air pumping out into the atmoshphere
