Here's one of GM's masterpieces the L36. 200hp & 225lb-ft torque stock. It provides good power in this car, but I wanted more so I installed the following performance mods:
-wizaired cai
-dhp pcm
-slp headers w/high flow cat
-slp powerflo catback
-zzp hv3 intake insert/runners
-zzp stage 1 high velocity throttle body
-zzp er ratio rocker arms
-180* thermostat
All those mods together made a huge difference in the car's power, but I haven't dyno tested or ran it in the 1/4mi yet. For handling I installed GM Performance Parts strut tower braces for both front & rear & zzp poly mounts
For the interior I have the PFYC.com ultimate carbon fiber dash which completly upgraded the appearence of the interior as you can see
Aside from the CF dash I also put a stainless steel bezel around the gauges, Trans Am leather shift knob, digital dic upgrade and a custom illuminating hu flushmount from www.humount.com to go with the Alpine 9833 deck. For speakers I went with Infinity Reference 5.25's and Alpine CX3 6x9's.

I upgraded the rearview mirror to the xenon science auto dimming rearview mirror. It also features external temperature readout, compass & uv meter
I also did accent lighting with "xenon" hyperwhite bulbs & blue gel caps
*Current project* rear door lights. Those with '97-00 Grand Prix sedans know that only the reflectors in the front doors illuminate & the rear ones are just solid red (where as 01-03 all are solid red non illuminating). I always felt this odd so I picked up a set of red & clear door lights from the morad parts company & found door light harnesses & began my project.
- I had to take off both door panels & the lower side mouldings on the inside
- Piggy backed the pos & neg wires from the front doorlight
- Route the wiring from the front door to inside the dash, down to the floor (under where the side mouldings would be, into the back door making sure the wires clear the window assy & then out through the oppening & soldered to the lamp harness. The pic shows the end result. I still have to finish the drivers side & get matching "xenon" hyperwhite bulbs, but it looks 100x better imo

In the trunk I have 2 Rockford 10's in a ported box powered by a Rockford punch 400w amp that I picked up from a friend originally for the Grand Am. The system may be old, but still hits hard. Gotta love the old school Rockford
