This is the original "Crickle" top roof. This is not vinyle, but a special paint that was a dealer option. They laid it on thick and then applied heat to dry it quickly. The result is a hard, rough finish that appears just like vinyle!
In the background is my '89 Camaro convertible.
In this shot of the taillight you can see the original dealer sticker (Bueckert Motors - Gretna, Manitoba)! This is a small town of about 600 people and where I grew up.
This picture gives a good idea of the condition of the car. The corner of the rear window and trunk really rusts badly and is usually the first place to go.page 1 - Exterior
