This is my VIS Evo carbon fiber hood that I got from Apex Motorsports in Tempe, AZ. I also upgraded and got the sport grill.

Heres a pic after i blackened out the "m"blem...
and had added blue rockblocker to the headlight housings. also i ditched the silvia parts eyelids. i ran without eyelids for quite a period of time till i got the valliant eyelids.(pics to be added)

I removed my headlights and baked them in the oven to take them apart. Then painted the chrome plastic to a nice trim black. Put them back in the oven to seal the glue and reinstalled on the car.

A big thanks goes out to Ian (6ownzu) for the inspiration to do the tinting of the headlights.

An updated pic with the valliant eyelids, and the blue rockblocker....

Heres a underhood pic to show off some of the hottness under the hood....Freedom Design Strutbar (painted red braces black) also the carbon fiber engine cover picked up from mazda6stuff and added a custom decal to the top of it, difficult to see (but its there) B&M tranny cooler, tommytran grounding system, And the best part of all of it, The Custom Perfomance Engineering Mafci intake system. Heres a handy link to thier site, as they offer some rather impressive mods for the 6.

Cannot forget the tein hood dampners to help hold the hood up.

Recently Installed the cp-e motor mount to reduce engine movement, and increase traction. And i must say, i was expecting the mount to really increase vibrations inside the car, and i was drastically wrong. I could notice more vibration in the steering wheel at idle, but nothing major. And once on the power, no difference at all other then the fact the i have more traction on take off.

A pic to show how stout this mount is compared to the pathetic stock mount, that was torn btw.

Have to include this sweet shot looking down through one of the vents in the evo hood....
