UPDATE 8/28:100,000 has come and gone..page 3 for the proof, not really something I want to admit though..
8/19:The S60 now has a name..Amara, which is the German name meaning eternal.
8/13:Custom plates just came in..one of the only S60s in town just got a little more recognizable. Maybe I'm just the only VOLVOLVR here...

Well, here I am again. If you know anything about me, you would know that this will be my 3rd Volvo. Starting with the 1989 740 GLE,
1986 760 Turbo, and now the 2001 S60. In between the 760T and the S60 there was a '99 Camry, great car...just not for me. Whoever came up with the slogan "Volvo for life" wasnt kidding.
A quick rundown of options on this beauty:
Leather seats (heated)
Traction control
Sunroof
CD Player
Every single airbag known to man...
and lots more, but thats just the stuff I only care about.
Its a 2.4L I5 throwing down 168hp and 170ft-lbs of torque..pretty respectable numbers. However, when I hit the highway and merge I'll hit 80mph without even thinking about it. I'm thinking they hid a turbo in there somewhere.
The engine when pressed just a little puts out a great note, kinda "throaty" almost..damn good stuff.
