Z-CARR (v4.0)
If I had a Z, it'd be silver... no... BLACK...
By December, I was starting to put together a plan to convert my NA 2+2 to a Twin Turbo. I began to purchase the maintenance and upgrade parts that I knew I would need/want. I also started the more difficult task of sourcing a manual tranny front clip or donor car in good condition. I have never trusted JDM front clips very much. The overall success rate is too hit-and-miss. There is a reason that they're often referred to as "JDM time bombs".
Finally, in March I found a totalled 1993 USDM TT located in the Dallas, Texas area ovend by a 66 year old Z enthusiast and great person. She had owned the car since it was new and it was exceedingly well maintained by the same Nissan specialist mechanic its entire life.
