1991 GMC Jimmy SLE
4Door 2wd 4.3L V6 auto

New Jimmy:
I picked up another 1991 Jimmy in much better shape than the 2tone one, using the motor, cowl-induction hood, grille and various other parts from the first one....plus new rockers, fenders, quarters, driver's door and wheel tubs. the complete front end , tailgate, and roll pan of the new Jimmy are not being used. (Above photos taken June 08)
Body Work Started July 2008
Door Handles and tailgate handle shaved, clear markers and turn signals
motor swap started
The Jimmy is currently undergoing a complete overhaul and will be all winter in the garage.

Body Mods: Steel cowl induction hood; shaved front bumper; shaved antenna; shaved spare tire carrier; shaved roof rack, Street Scene Mirrors, Shaved door handles, shaved tailgate, custom rear bumper, clear corners and markers, shaved emblems and moldings
Suspension mods, front: 2" Belltech drop spindles, Air Ride, custom lower control arms, IROC Camaro steering box.
Suspension mods, rear: Belltech drop leaf springs, 3" lowering blocks, frame C-notched for axle clearance, rear sway bar.
Wheels: (for now) stockers painted black
Interior: Factory bench seats front (rare?) and back....soon to be upholstered black
Stereo: Sony CD player, 2 12" Rockford Fosgate subs
