Here are a few quick shots of the interior of Yume. Everything was in good shape when I bought the car so not much has changed. Why change a good thing? Then again, I may change a few things over time. You never know. I dont stay content long.

Audio is important to me but so is weight in a sports car. I removed the twin 10 sub box from the trunk (took up the whole trunk) and replaced it with two 10" subs in the rear panels on either side of the back seat. Sounds great and leaves me with some trunk space. This is all powered by my Power Acoustik Area 51 1000w amp.
.
I got the idea for the mounting locations of the 10's from a write up by John Copeland. For more on Johns original install click here.

New shift knob & shift boot!

My wife bought me a new shift knob for my birthday. I love .44 magnum and I think this knob (a Pilot Motorsports .44 Mag) does justice to the .44

The old shif boot was shot. It was stock and stock was crap back in '96 when it was new. After all these years of abuse from past owners it had holes in it and the "leather" was almost all gone... It was sad.

I decided not to skimp (no ebay) since the shift boot is a real focal area and this needs to last me a few years. I decided to go with redlinegoods.com because they use real 100% Italian leather, they will do multiple panel or single color panel all at no extra cost.. The product is one of my favorite items I have purchased for the car so far. I got mine done charcoal & black for no extra cost. Fits 100% and was a sinch to install.

The shift boot is high quality and cost a modest $40 including shipping from Europe. Not bad. If you click on this link: redlinegoods.com Nissan leather products you get an extra 5% off of your order. They are just cool like that.

nice...thats how my 2nd 240 started out as. There's nothing better than starting from scratch rather picking up where someone elses work left off.

Thanks Phil, I'm going to keep the american 240 look. I may add some extras but I'm not going JDM. Supercharger next. :)
