Shaved69's 1969 Lincoln Continental This is my slammed 1969 Lincoln Continental, sittin on chromed 20s right after my buddy Tim and I installed all the bags, and the custom four link suspension system in the rear, which was very well thought out, and engineered by Tim.

Shaved69's 1969 Lincoln Continental These pictures were taken before I even started doing any bodywork to the car. The only thing we did to the body at this point was cut out the driveshaft hump in the floor, and raise it 5 inches so there is enough clearance for the driveshaft when the car is sittin on the ground. We also cut most of the roof out to accomodate the huge canvas sliding ragtop, which would be installed once the car is painted.

Shaved69's 1969 Lincoln Continental Here is what makes everything possible, in the trunk is a 550c Viair air compressor, and the 12 gallon air tank with 1/2" SMC valves, and 1/2" airlines to feed the bags.

Here, as you can see, I started doing bodywork to the car, which turned out to be a total nightmare since the car seemed to be hit, and repaired by a bunch of hacks, back in the day. If that wasnt enough I added to the bodywork by shaving the handles, antenna, and trunk lid.

Shaved69's 1969 Lincoln Continental I had to cut off the right side quarter panel, dogleg, and rocker cause there was just no fixing them. The car was hit in this corner three times, and I know this cause there were two doglegs under the last one they welded on.

Shaved69's 1969 Lincoln Continental In this picture you are looking at a $20 quarter panel which I cut off a 67 continental and pieced whatever I could salvage from it into mine.

Shaved69's 1969 Lincoln Continental After all this I still had to fabricate a dogleg and a rocker with an oval hole in it for the stainless exhaust tips, which are gonna come through the rockers to the side.

Sweet!! I have a 69 coupe I'm working on right now. Started at the engine and working my way out. Was wondering if you had more info you could share on the custom airbag setup you installed. Looking to bag mine here in the next year or so.
