3291sf's 1968 Ford Mustang This is what she looked like when I first brought her home. I thought she was a fairly straight car with little rust.

3291sf's 1968 Ford Mustang Sure enough, I found rust in the floor pans. The leaky winidow seals allowed water to leak in and soak into the carpet. The driver's side pan cut out.

3291sf's 1968 Ford Mustang A side pic after suspension mods and swapping the starskey and hutch slot mags out for some real wheels...torq thrusts IIs.

3291sf's 1968 Ford Mustang The old 351W coming out...turns out it was already .060 over.

3291sf's 1968 Ford Mustang The body just before I took it in for paint/body.

3291sf's 1968 Ford Mustang Another pic before I take it in for paint body. This is after all of the suspesnion work I did after I first bought it and with the new wheels and tires.

Great looking coupe!!! I really like what you've done with your car. I have a few questions for you... What engine mounts did you use when installing your 351w? Did you stock mounts, or did you upgrade to TCP or Ron Morris mounts? If you used TCP or Ron Morris mounts what headers are you running, and did you have any clearance issues? Since I live in the SF Bay area, maybe I'll see you at a local car event? cheers, michaelg

hey man nice mustang, I hope my 67 comes out as nice as yours is coming along. But about your coilovers, about how much drop did you have them set at? I've been looking to lower mine somewhere between 1-3 inches but being in high school and working minimum wage coilovers and airride is out of the question. I'm just hoping I can use drop coils and either drop leaf springs or blocks.
