After putting the hood and bumper on, the car gets hot when stuck in traffic. I'll be making a fan shroud soon and will post pics.

I will do a seperate write up of the Hot Rod Power Tour. The Mustang made it 800 miles when I looked down and seen about 10 psi of oil pressure while cruising at 3,000 rpms. I had the car towed to a local lot and semi'd home. For the Power Tour, I rented a car and continued on. I got my car back home two days ago. I already have the motor out and found the problem. I'll do a seperate write up of that once I get everything completely figured out. Long story short, though, I screwed up :(. I'm going to completely disassemble the motor, but I don't expect to see much damage. I think it got caught quick enough.

Here are a couple of pictures of my car at the tow lot.

After seeing how far the motor sticks out of the hood, I'm very interested in trying to get this motor under a stock hood. I think it may fit. Currently, I have a 5" air cleaner. I'm going to see how everything fits with a drop base and 2.5" air cleaner.

this is a bigblock 460? did you have to do any cutting other than on the k-member and radiator support? i am thinking about doing a similar build on a 98 v6, and would like to know what kind of cutting i am getting myself into, think i can handle the radiator support to clear the radiator, and maybe i wont have to comsidering it will be a full blown dragster and wont need one that big. would appreciate a reply, and dude, thats an awesome stang...

Hey awesome project man! You should just throw a cowl hood on instead of the stock one. It'd look sick!
