First of all, thanks for coming by and taking a look at project.

I bought this car off E-bay for $1475 with a salvage title from an insurance company. With the help of a friend (thanks Rick!), we made the 350 mile drive with a trailer to pick the car up. I was very happy with the condition of the car. It was one of those instances where you wonder why it was totaled.
Although the car had sat for a few months without being started, it started right up and drove onto the trailer under its own power. In hindsight, the car could have been driven home if it had better tires.
I bought some headlights and turnsignals off E-bay and put the spare tire on the car in order to drive it to the frame shop. $250 later, the car had a straight frame.
Since I work at Sears automotive, I got some good tires for cheap and drove the car for a while before tearing it apart. It ran great!
I had noticed that the temperature occasionaly went a little high and thought it was a sticky thermostat. Well, I didn't change it quick enough and blew a head gasket one day while driving to work. Damn!
Oh well! Since I wasn't about to put any money into the V6 drivetrain, I started pulling the motor and tranny.

This is a picture of the car after I had the motor and tranny out. I already have the PA Racing tubular k-member in and most of the wiring issues taken car of.
Sadly, I don't have any pictures of the car before I started its transformation.
