What a nice day it was in nice ol toledo today. Got the firebird out and did some cruisin. Alot of pro streeters and bikers out today gettin a taste of summer comming. Wishin the camaro ran but it will hopfully be soon! stupid ass OGT testing this week for school wich means limited time working on the car but hey its our anniversary and im takin my girl to dinner so stay tuned!

*3-2-05*
Well we got the 396 on the stand, pulled the intake, the heads, and the pan to check everything out, and it all looks 100% The motor is .60 over with a aftermarket Steel Crank, Polished Rods, 4-bolt mains, Splash pan and high volume oil pump and pickup. The heads are Cast so theyre heavy as shit, but they have all new valves, springs, rockers, and girdles and lets not forget the Gonzo Hog ports, theyre fricken huge. The intake is a Holly Strip Dominator Single plane intake, ported and polished to match the heads. There is a Comp Cam in the motor (and thats all the details youll be getting on it :) The carb is a 750cfm Holly ProStreet Dominator. All MSD ignition, billit distributor, 6AL box 7400rpm RevLimitor, and Blaster Coil. Hooker Super Comp Ceramic Coated Headers, 2 inch tubes going down to 3 inch pipes with Flowmaster mufflers. For now, hopfully tomarrow i can get the motor all back together and get it ready for drop in. Stay Tuned!!

*2-14-05*
hey guess what! my rods are fucked up AGAIN!! godd im getting pissed off. New news now, the car might be getting a built 396 big block, dont know yet for sure but that would be sweeet
stay tuned

*2-7-05*
Hey sup people, my home computer is currently fucked up so i cant get pics on here till i get it fixed. But i have started working on the motor, getting the rotating assembly done and now i have to wait for the heads to come in and ill be ready to go from there.

*2-3-05*
hah im at school, what up people, gettin my motor built this week! tonight im bringin the camaro on page 2 and our firebird to school for open house in the auto tech lab, its going to be sweet! Hopfully by this next week my motor will be done! im pretty pumped about it, oh yea i got my cowl hood for it too, it looks badass on it, stay tuned

*1-29-05*
Well my home computer is fucked up. Im at my girlfriends and figured id update the pages some. Okay well yesterday we went to put the motor together, rechecking some blueprinting, we realized all the rods were out of round by about 8 thousandths. So im like okay this blows. So now we have to send the rods back and wait to have the machine shop send us a new set. So the motor is on hold even longer. Then i find out that the fricken AFR's are on a 5 week back order. GREAT!!
stay tuned i guess..

*1-24-05*
We have all the parts for the motor. Got it all blueprinted. Ready for assembly. My dad and I and our buddy kenny are going to build the motor hopfully this week. Stay Tuned, Some more pics to keep u busy, Scroll to bottom.

*1-19-05*
Placed the order for the Glasstek Fiberglass cowl hood today, should be here within the week.
Its a hinged 4" cowl hood

Faster406's 1972 Chevrolet Camaro

*1-18-05*
Put the shock extensions on because the car was sitting too low in the ass end. Got the rims all torqued down and ready. Today i placed my order for my AFR's. They are the 2.02 1.60s and yes i know that doesnt sound like much for a 406. Yea the bigger valves sound alot cooler and all but acually these will be better for maintaining tourq on the street. Ive decided to put NOS on it, just a 150 shot, nothing big, just lookin to shave a couple 10ths off. This week id like to put the racing seats in and get the harnesses and have my buddy craig weld the cage in soon. As for now im going to put the drive shaft loop in and all so stay tuned!

Just some shots of the new tires.

Faster406's 1972 Chevrolet Camaro

Here in this shot you can kind of get a idea of the color of the car with some light on it. I Really dont like the color much.

Faster406's 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Faster406's 1972 Chevrolet Camaro
Here you can see i have the battery mounted in the trunk with the on/off switch. The battery in the pic was just a mock up, I Have a new Optima Yellow Top for it.

Faster406's 1972 Chevrolet Camaro

Here is a dash shot of the gauges and Autometer tach, it is eventually getting all Phantom Gauges..when i have the money..lol I took and painted the gauge pod silver to give it a kind of aluminum look, it turned out good.

Faster406's 1972 Chevrolet Camaro

This is the lower part of the dash wich goes under the steering column. I took the little garbage ashtray out and made a plate out of Chrome Aluminum for my switches. The is the Fuel Pump, NOS, Elec. Fan and the starter button.

My local speed shop where i get all my parts!

Faster406's 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Faster406's 1972 Chevrolet Camaro
Pushed the car out a little to try to get some sunlight on it for pics. Sure as soon as u got it out of the garage clouds came out.

Faster406's 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Faster406's 1972 Chevrolet Camaro
I love the littlest things about my car. Ive always wanted a 70-73 camaro with some WELD draglites and i got it and im only 16. Yep im a pretty lucky kid.

Faster406's 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Faster406's 1972 Chevrolet Camaro
YES IT SHOWS SIGNS OF LIFE!

Faster406's 1972 Chevrolet Camaro

Today i put some missleading 350 Emblems on it..cause its just a mild 350..cough cough

Faster406's 1972 Chevrolet Camaro

These are the air shocks that were on it. Their ass, they transfered weight worse than anything you will ever put on your car.

This is the Intake Set up i have along with the Aluminum Valve Covers

*1-12-05*
Got my money for my AirFlow Research Aluminum Street Heads!! Going up to the local speed shop tommarow to place the order, i might also change from the dart intake to a AFR intake matched to the heads. Not sure yet. Stay Tuned.

*1-11-05*

Today i got the new tires mounted. They are M&H racemasters 29x13 d.o.t. slicks.

Today i also got the new Competition Engineering Drag Shocks on. The rears are 30/70 adjustable and the fronts are 10/90 adjustables.

Hopfully in this next week i can get the new Richmond 4.10 gears in and get the new windshield installed and then it will be a rockin roller awaiting the completion of the motor. Everything is all wired like the lights and electric fan and gauges and the battery is mounted in the trunk and the on off switch is all wired up and ready to rock. STAY TUNED
