Plans for the Future

Animalthug841's 1972 Chevrolet El Camino

Upcoming Plans

1: Need to fix the wiring in the interior plenty of wires hanging around that need to be identified and taken care of

2: Need to purchase a shop manual for correct reference to fixing my many problems. I needed to know if the El Camino shop manual was used as the Sprint Manual please lemme know someone.

3: Need to replace the brakes, Front rotors and pads, Rear probably just needs a good cleaning and adjusting. Also need to replace the missing e-brake cables.

4: This is a tough one but i want to get the a/c working sometime next year. But its missing the condenser, piping, and the a/c compressor, so theres plenty of need parts to be found.

5: Install a nice and subtle tachometer so i can see the rpms.

6: Fix that damn oil leak that gives me nightmares.

Winter

1: My goal is to sand down the
whole truck bed and then prime it and repaint.

2: Possibly Pull the engine and clean up the engine bay and repaint it.

3: Pull all the carpets and clean up the floors and back of the interior.

Let's just hope my finance lets me accomplish all these goals. I'll try and post as much pictures as I can with the project

Nice Sprint! A guy I work with has a '72 Sprint, he gets pissed off when people call it an El Camino. So what all you got planned for it? Keep me updated on your progress if you can, LATER!
