Page 5: Trunk Emblems stripped and relocated and F and R Clear-Outs

These jobs are getting easier by the minute after doing those springs in 3 hrs under constant pressure this was a cake walk.

ALl clear-outs are installed w. LED super white bulbs (they really look off white and more blue) They cant be seen during the day but at night...

REAR TRUNK EMBLEMS STRIPPED

I also got this off those trusty forums and saw how easy it was. After doing those springs I knew this would be "Nuttin"

So it was time to work on getting my emblems stripped. Sad to say but this is the only pic i took of my trunk b4 this mod not very good for a b4 pic but theres plenty on here to compare w. on this site

B4 PIC:

I only used the heat gun for ab 5 mins on the "MAXIMA" then after burning my tips a few times I said "FUCK THAT" and my boy showed up and thats when we jumped into the Spring job
So 1st thing the next morning I went str8 for the other emblems w. just some .95 cents floss, a lil bit of WD40 along w. lots of Bug & Tar Remover. 2gether worked perfectly to remove the extra adhesive tape off.

I worked that cheap ass floss in and out, up and down and they all came off like a hot knife through butter (well a cold plastic knife thru stiff margarine really).

The 20th anniversary emblem and SE are still in tact and came off in 1 swoop, The "MAXIMA" well...Gone!!

I love the clean look of the back now. I think ima paint the 20th anniv emblem blue and glue it on my dash for a nice lil interior mod.

*Ohh yea I found out the hard way the NISSAN is drilled into the trunk so thats staying there for now.*
