It runs 12,2 seconds on a quarter mille with drag tires and no nitrous, 2640 mts above sea level (9000 FEET).It has about 325 whp without NOS. This is first and foremost a street car, its not a drag racer but due to the boom of this activity it was adapted for this, obtaining excellent results. Its used every day by its owner, and still has some of its original parts (air conditioner, hydraulic direction, electric windows, central blockage and sunroof). This poses an interesting question: a � mile in 12 seconds on a street car? Its technical specifications say that a compression of 8.5 to 1 was applied to it, it wrights 1150 Kg (2300 Lb) and makes 8200 rpm. It has raced in different events in different cities, cities like Armenia (162 miles from Bogota) and Girardot (86 miles from Bogota). The increase in fuel consumption was very small due to the race injectors installed, making it a very economic vehicle compared to other race cars. It used unleaded fuel except when racing where it uses a high octane fuel. Its owner, along with his mechanic, used 2 different fuels, ethylic fuel when racing only with turbo and VP racing fuel when using turbo and nitro. Its owner wanted the car to appear as any street car for this it has its original paint (Dupont red). It maintains its original look, making it a �sleeper�. It draws little attention to it until its seen on the track. It was adapted in TURBOTEK with point technology materials. It makes 60 Ft in 1.710 sec with slicks tires and 1.823 with street tires, a very good time considering Hondas neither have posi-traccion nor spool like some Suzuki swift. To obtain these times and also for racing, some adaptations are made. Its original hood is replaced with one made with carbon fibber, the back door is replaced with a fibber glass one, the back seat is removed, the exhaust is also removed, its suspension is strengthened (this is possible due to the graduation option of the tokiko suspension); the tires are changed to slicks. The wheels are changed to 13 inch wheels and the back ones are changed to skinnies. All this is done to take weight off from the car. After all these changes it races with cars used only for races. Its usage versatility (street, street races and drag races) its another achievement of Colombian engineering, an every day car whit one of the best national records on 402 mts, moving on any street.
