Midbass Installation
So, here's what the door panel looks like from the factory:
And the back side of the door panel. See the speaker is mounted to the door panel - bad, very bad:
And here's what we have to work with on the factory door - notice how there's no hole for the factory driver to play into the door cavity...
A little dremel work and now we have a hole:
A few rings of MDF, some foam as a gasket, and finally some Raammat BXT on the inside of the ring to seal up the midbass:
This is just a temp install. I will come back, solidify the mount significantly and finish up with a full application of sound deadening on the doors.
