lcattman's 1989 Ford MustangThis is My 89 Stang when I first bought it this spring. It looked good from a distance but had a really poor paint job on it. They did not remove the lights or trim so I stripped it right down to bare metal and gave it a custom paint job.

lcattman's 1989 Ford Mustang Here is the finished product so far. I added a Cervini's Storman Norman hood, clear marker lights and 83-86 Mustang tail lights.I decided on the custom paint because there is thousands of black mustangs around. Some will hate it some will like it. I do know I have had a very good reaction around here! The interior is stock except a B&M shifter and panasonic CD player. But I do have plans for big mods in there. the motor is stock with a cold air intake kit. I have not decided between building a fuel injected 351 or the 302 head, intake, supercharger combo. It has 16" pony rims off of a 91 but I do plan to put 17" cobra R wheels on here and put these on my Capri.

I did the paint job myself. and I like it a lot. Anything custom is going to have its share of haters. Thanks for the good comments. Oh and the paint job cost about $700 CDN for all the paint primer etc. and about three months of after work and weekends sanding etc. I had to remove 3 really bad paint jobs. If I wanted it black again I could run back to Maaco spend 300 bucks and have the same quaility again> Later
