I bought this car in May of 2004. It was sailed here from California and arrived in August 2004. I drove it for a few days and then parked it for the winter. This year (05) I'll start working on it. For now I'll just get a few things done, like new door hinges, spark plugs and so on. Then I'll be driving it a bit this summer, and I think I'll start taking it apart next year. I don't have a lot of room to work on it, so unfortunatelly I have to rely on other people to help me out with the space until I get a bigger garage. My plan is to restore it over the next 2-3 years. I wanna keep it looking pretty original, and I've decided to keep the original color and get the correct decals as well. The hood bird isn't the original, but the other decals are as far as I know.I'm looking for info on this kinda t-top. I do have some, but what I'm esp interested in is how many were made and how many are left. I have only seen it on a couple of Trans Am before. So I'd love to find out more about it. It's dealer installed by a company called Cars and Concepts Inc. They don't excist anymore as far as I know. The engine is a 403. It looks pretty original, and I'll keep it that way. No chrome etc. I'd like to keep the original look as most of these cars have been modified more or less. And I guess some people are still very interested in a solid original car, because I've gotten several very decent offers. I'm not interested in selling the car though.

Whoops, I ment Cars & Concepts, not American Hatch. I had American Hatch on my mind when I wrote the post! Sorry!

Hey, nice car! Check out http://www.transamcountry.com, great resource. Those T-Tops are made by an aftermarket company called American Hatch, unfortunately like many other things, GM did not count the numbers of those style T-Tops. Hope this helps.

Cool T/A! Lookin at the engine pics, you have a 403 motor cuz the oil filler tube is visible in the front. TATA for now!
