My 1966 Austin Healey Sprite MK III

I found this car in a news paper ad simply reading "66 Austin Healey Sprite Running with many extras 3500 obo" (I later lost the paper). AFter looking up what the car might look like I began to think and eventually called the guy and took the 30 minute trip to Crofton to look at it.
I'll admit it was an odd purchase being an import guy, Don't get me wrong its not that I dont like classics but I usualy wouldnt go off buying something like this. I looked at it and took a test drive at last light. It was fun but a bit cramped but that was something I would later get used to. I drove home thinking and called my mother to tell ehr about the car. Later that same night I called him back and told him "Tell your wife you just sold the car." I talked him down to 3000 over the phone which he said was fair.

The car had some sort of accident which left the driver side fender damaged. By comparing the now and then photos you can tell not only has the car been repainted the wrong color, Other modifications have occured. The mirros have been moved from the fenders to the doors and a factory luggage rack has been added. What you cant see is the electronic ignition and electric fuel pump and valve guides that have been converted to make the car more reliable.

I recieved the car in very good and running condition. It came with a spare engine, transmission and 8 boxes worth of parts. I definatley think I got my moneys worth.
