Page One

Hey, thanks for at least checkin out my page. I don't have any pics right now cause my car is at my shop. I've already done the internals of my engine, it's a 350 four bolt main bored to a 400 with Wiseco pistons, Edelbrock intake, and a Holley four barrel carb. I didn't know you could create your own page untill a few days ago, so unfortunately I don't have any pics of my engine being built. I won't letcha down on the rest of the project though don't worry. Right now I'm waitin on my valve covers, breathers, and air cleaner that I ordered from Jegs. You'll know when they get in cause I'll have plenty of pics for ya.

Someone help me. I want the Trans Am body kit, front and back bumber, side skirts, fenders, and tail lights. Does anyone know where I can get these parts in good condition, fast, easy, and fairly cheap? One other thing, will the Trans Am fenders fit on a firebird? I won't have to modify anything like brackets or anything to make them fit will I? If you can help me or have any suggestions please contact me at Joe0585@yahoo.com A.S.A.P.

Since my car is not here right now I can't play with it, so I'll just update ya on what I've done with my car so far.

These are the parts that I'm waitin on from Jegs...

Hotrodin85's 1985 Pontiac FirebirdEdelbrock tall profile signature series valve covers

Hotrodin85's 1985 Pontiac FirebirdK&N valve cover breathers

Hotrodin85's 1985 Pontiac FirebirdK&N air cleaner

Can't forget the parts I've already installed...

Hotrodin85's 1985 Pontiac FirebirdEdelbrock performer intake (This won't stay on very long, I want the rpm air gap instead, I don't know what I was thinkin lol.)

Hotrodin85's 1985 Pontiac FirebirdHolley four barrel 600 cfm street carb nickel finished

I have stock heads, and I can't find any pictures of my actual cam and valvetrain components, but I'll have pics of my car when my parts get in from Jegs.

So untill then...

I got my taillights off ebay They are stock meant for the '85 - '90 Trans Am but they will fit on any '82 - '92 the 3rd generation. ( also the seller gave me the bulbs ) First I went to the local Pontiac dealership and they said they could order me a new set for $150.00..... well i luckally thought of looking up Trans Am Tailights on ebay and got mine $15.00 each!!!! the center piece was free only spent $30.00 Ebay is a wonderful place to get T/A stuff. Let me know when you get pics up. Thanx for checking out my T/A L8r.

Also i know te answers to a few things u need to know, On a Knight Rider conversion site i learned to can put T/A fenders on a Firebird ( or cut a hole in it and put the vents in ), a Trans Am hood, engine swap, rear and front bumper, almost anything Firebird is the origional body Trans Am is its twin to anything is possible, even converting it into a Camaro is possible.
