*8/22/06 - Time for an update. It's been a long time since the last one. Since April I have gotten most of the body work done, including Prodrive P1 lip, new front grille, cf badging, fog covers, a jdm V4 STi rear bumper, etc. The front brakes have been upgraded with Cobb pads and new rotors. I also picked up an 05 usdm WRX interior (front and rear seats). Definately a step up from my RS leather seats. This fall I will be doing some more engine and transmission upgrades as soon as the exterior is finished. I do need a clutch, and my transmission is having some issues, so I will be getting another V2 tranny in the next month or so. After that, it's time for a fmic and a BIG turbo. I did pick up a 93 FWD Impreza L that I am fixing up as well. No plans to make that one fast, just need a reliable daily driver that gets good gas mileage. I will clean it up a bit though and it will be my winter car also. Last winter my RS took such a beating that after all all this body work I don't want it to happen again. More to come, stay tuned.

*4/24/06 - Picked up a jdm ver. 2 wrx tranny because the rs tranny went. also picked up new 22b vents, a grille, p1 front lip, eyelids (not sure if i'm going to use them), and a few other exterior bits. They're getting painted next week.

*3/20/06 - Hybrid motor blew up, so I sold EVERYTHING off and picked up the motor I had always wanted to put under the hood, a jdm Ver. 7 STi RA motor. Motor runs very strong, and the car is stupid fast. With dyno tune it put down 265.9whp on KTR's "heartbreaker" conservative dyno (charts on page 3), which would put it around 300whp on any other dyno. Car is easily capable of running low 12's in the 1/4 mile. Put some new pix up; next is body work :) and a stronger transmission.

*1/25/06 - It turned out that the hybrid STi/WRX motor I bought was junk. Cyl. 1 had a compression of 75 :(. I found this out after I had brought the car to get tuned at KTR Performance and they couldn't tune it past 210whp and 222 torque because it was detonating so badly. I bought a brand new 06 STi shortblock from the dealer, tore the motor apart, and rebuilt everything myself to what I wanted from scratch. I used Cometic head gaskets to lower the compression to a safe level, as well as used ARP head studs to strengthen everything. The motor is mated to my 16g turbo, as well as a new fuel system consisting of Ultimate Racing 785cc injectors and a Walbro, as well as a full turbo back exhaust and GPMoto TMIC. A Turbo-XS UTEC controls things. The car will be going back to KTR to get retuned within the next few weeks once it is broken in. I also picked up a set of new Megan Racing coilovers and a set of H6 rear brakes and new Cobb Tuning pads for both the front and the rear. I think my radiator might be cracked, so I will probably pick up a Koyo radiator within the next few months. Needless to say, this car pulls HARD. Dyno chart to come soon!

*12/6/05 - Figured out what I'm doing as far as a new motor goes. Here's what the setup will be in the next 2 weeks: ej257 (STi) shortblock, wrx heads, STi cams, ARP head studs, 16g turbo, Walbro fuel pump, and Ultimate Racing 785cc injectors, all being run off a TurboXS Utec tuned at KTR in Ayer, MA. Once I come home from school on the 14th I'm putting this all together. Wish me luck. Also will be upgrading my rear brakes sometime over winter break, and possibly buying coilovers if money allows.

*12/1/05 - Motor's dead. I blew the headgaskets and the block has low compression. I'm trying to source a jdm Ver. 7 or Ver. 8 STi motor, but I'm not having much luck, so I may build up a hybrid WRX/STi motor with my 16g turbo and a TurboXS UTEC. I've already located a hybrid setup, but I'm waiting until the end of the week to see if I can find what I really want. I'll keep you guys posted. Also need to get some body work done soon because the lip is cracked and it's bugging me.

*11/12/05 - Well, it was figured out that the issues with my motor were attributed to a blown td04 turbo, so I just ordered a nice new bigger 16g turbo. I'm going with the 16g because it still has very fast spool, but produces a lot more power than the stock td04. I plan on running it on my car for a while just to get by with stock fueling and ecu, and then once I get a UTEC as well as the rest of the supporting mods I can tune it right. I also plan to send it out to Deadbolt to get reworked in the future.

*10/26/05 - Now the car is running kind of crappy. I think i narrowed it down to a bad iac valve, so I'll be fixing that this weekend. I think rather than keeping on modding, I'd like to fix everything on my car now that's broken or not working right. That includes my now blown suspension, bad brakes, bad shimming job on the crossmember, control arms, issues with the motor, and fix the exterior (lip is cracked again, and bumpers have broken and/or missing clips). I think the only mods I'd like to have done by the end of the year are a catback, aftermarket up pipe, and utec. That would put me at stage II. We'll see how it goes.

*9/26/05 - Just put in an ACT clutch, ACT XACT Streetlite flywheel, STi shifter linkage, and ERZ downpipe. I'll have a new TRUST/Greddy shift knob by the end of the week as well. New pix coming soon. Please nominate me for showoff of the week, as well as rate me! Thanks.

*6/19/05 - Kind of pissed off. Took my car to New England Dragway today in Epping, NH and best time was 15.4 @ 87.10 mph. Check out the time slip and some pix below. SWAP TIME!

*6/13/05 - I got the chance to go to NESIC's Wicked Big Subaru Meet in Mass, where there were over 350 Subarus in attendence. I'm not putting any of the pix up, but you can see them in my webshots -> http://community.webshots.com/album/366894160LBJdEe. Anywho, Stromung exhaust is now on, and it sounds like my car is on roids, not to mention the power boost I got from it and the high flow cat. CF dash trim is now in too, and I'm waiting until I get a grille, and I'll have that and the aero mudguards painted and put on. New pix below and on other pages; check 'em out. *6/6/05 - Just bought some new stuff since school's out. Picked up a Stromung catback w/high flow cat, 01 RS cf dash trim, aero mudguards, and soon enough I'll be buying a ver. 6 grille. Pix up soon.

*4/1/05 - Been a while since I updated. New pix after I cleaned her up. Check 'em out.

*1/28/05 - Fixed/painted the lip, its on now. Exterior is almost done except for grille, wheels, and different spoiler... maybe fog covers too. I really want a roof scoop, but I have a sunroof, so that wouldn't fly. Just had to replace the horrible Subaru battery with an Optima Red Top. Turns over much better now in these negative temps in NY. Check out the new pix.

*12/10/04 - I had a major leak in my trunk, so I had to get that fixed, but so I would never have to take my tails out again (where the leak was coming from), I had the body shop up here at school also paint my rear spats and put them on. They look really good, and the muffler doesn't look so obtrusive anymore. Have a look below.

*11/3/04 - Lip is still cracked, but my spats finally came in. That stuff probably won't go on until the spring. Its pointless to do it right now; its going to snow in a week or so. However, I did pick up an ILP short shifter. I got it in today, and after romping around town a bit, I can say the throw is much shorter, the shift feels lighter, and its more of a crisp shift; however it takes more effort to shift. But nonetheless, it shifts like a sport-sedan should shift now. The height of the knob didn't decrease, but I didn't want it to anyways; I like where it sat stock. Looks like I'm done for the year.

*10/17/04 - Put some new pix up. Also got my sti pedals in. Lip is on, or was on. The day I took these pix that night I pulled onto a lawn to park and there was a huge tree root that just couldn't be seen, and you can guess what happened. Crack. In 2 places. So now the lip is going to be off for a while until I can get back into the body shop. When I do that I'll also get my rear spats on. I hope.

*10/11/04 - Got the pix up from our SUNY Binghamton area Subaru meet. It was fun. Check out Page 9, and you'll also see what the car looks like after all the paint and the new lip and everything. I'm going home this coming weekend and I'll have the pedals and other goodies installed too.

*10/1/04 - Still waiting on a digital camera to take some pix. But I'm also acquiring an Orciari UK Urethane lip Ver 1 for the front bumper. I decided on this because the P1 lip I really wanted was way out of my price range (~$500 for a lip), and the Orciari looks just like the P1 minus the three slots in the center. It still sits the same, which is what i was looking for. It will go on the car as its stock urethane color, then will be painted once I get my rear spats. Now I'm looking for a Ver. 6 grille and then that will definately do it for this year. Next year: TURBO.

*9/27/04 - Fresh paint! Both bumpers, the side skirts, and my 22b vents have been painted and put on the car. I'll have pix up eventually. I don't have a digicam here at school. It came out real nice! I put a fresh coat of wax on it today and it looks like a brand new car. I would have put the rear spats on too but they didn't come in time; they're still not here and I'm waiting on them. That will be in the next batch of goodies to go on the car (i.e. P1 lip, ver. 6 spoiler). I also finally got rid of the stupid washer lights and the lights the previous owner had put on the side skirts. I also bought a set of STi pedals to replace the ugly Razo ones that he put in too. Those will be installed next time I go home. More to come.

*8/26/04 - Suspension is completely in. It dropped a LOT. I acquired some 22b vents in the past week but they won't be going in until the spring along with the rear spats. It's all going to be getting done with the paint work anyways. I head back to school on the 28th, so I'm basically done for this year with the car. I bought some new tires for my stock 16's so I'm rolling on those now. The ADR's will be for sale eventually, since I'm going to get my Rota's in the spring. Enjoy for now!

*8/4/04 - Well the suspension is in the process of going in, and I just picked up some jdm rear spats for a price I just couldn't refuse. And they're painted silverthorn metallic which is always good, except one of them needs work since it hit a wall at 60 mph. More details to come! Vote!

Hey everyone, this is my 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS sedan. I got it maybe a month or so ago, and I've been going at it like crazy. College is coming back up, so I won't be doing anything else too huge besides dropping it, but enjoy! The Evolution of my car from stock (From stock to now)

Well, I've had the car a bit over a year. I bought it with the rear spoiler, the clear fender lights, a Weapon-R short ram intake, SPT front strut bar, and a factory gauge pack. Everything since then has been done by me, and with the help of a few friends. Thanks to everyone who has helped me get this car to where it is now. In the end I want it to be a 12-second jdm-look show car to compete with at such events as HIN, and the like.
