Subwoofers

So I started off with 2 10" MTX subs mounted in a sealed box in my trunk. The box, when combined with the space taken up by the top, took up ALL of the space in the trunk, as you can see in the following picture.

I decided to fix this problem by fabricating a couple of custom fiberglass enclosures and an amp rack. I am only about 1/4 of the way into the project, but here are some pictures.

As you can see, its still needs some bondo and a lot of smoothing. It does fit like a glove and takes up very little space. After a little more work, it will look great also. Here's some more pictures of it in the trunk.

Like I said, it is still very rough and needs smoothing. In a few weeks when the whole set up is done, I'll post more pictures. When it is done, there will be another identical enclosure that fits the left hand side of the trunk, and a custom amp rack against the back of the trunk.

UPDATE
Here's the latest. I've done a little more work, as you can see. One is almost done, the other I've gotten started on.
