1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza. Fully customized. My system consists of:

 - '98 Pioneer DEH P835R w/ full flap face, single cd, RDS w/ RadioText (two stations in the market have RadioText, title and artist at the push of a button!).
 - '98 Pioneer IMPP speakers custom intall 4 1/2" in doors, custom install 6x9" in back.
 - '99 JL Audio 10W3 in custom sealed box
 - '99 PPI 2360 360Wx1 amp

When I get money I'd like to change the 4 1/2" Pioneers to 4" Cerwin Vega components and I would also like to buy a PPI 4240 amp to power the four mid/high speakers, instead of running them off my head unit.

tidal18's 1965 Chevrolet Corvair This is it. With the engine in the rear, like a Porsche, it has custom two-tone paint, custom front air dam, 15" Cragar SS wheels w/ BFGoodrich Comp T/A 205/60R15, far from stock 13" wheels with hub-caps. All new custom interior (pics soon), 15" original wood-grain steering wheel. Custom install dash from a 1966 Chevy Corvair Corsa with speedo, tach, gas, amps, head temp, and oil pressure. Custom install air-conditioning system and center console with sealed box for sub. SOON TO COME: 15% tinted windows, 50% tinted windshield. 1 1/2" drop in front.

tidal18's 1965 Chevrolet Corvair This is a picture of the door panels holding the 4 1/2" Pioneer IMPP's. All the interior work on the car was done by myself and my father (except the upholstery for the back seat, and the front seats are out of an '86 Chevy Spectrum).

tidal18's 1965 Chevrolet Corvair This is a picture of the rear deck behind the back seat made custom by my father and myself. It holds the two Pioneer 6x9" IMPP's. Note: the purple tint will be gone and be replaced by 15% smoke-grey tint as soon as I get money.

tidal18's 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Here's my box before any of the pretty stuff got added. It's inside volume is exactly .625 ft cubed (sealed). Made in USA with 3/4" MDF, a LOT of wood glue and too many screws to count.

tidal18's 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Here is a picture of the inside of the box. The box was sealed with your typical silicone sealant. The connections for the speaker are solid screws through the back of the box. Nuts are used to attach the wires.

tidal18's 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Here she is! JL Audio 10W3 wired in a series.

tidal18's 1965 Chevrolet Corvair The box. Here is a pic of the whole box. The rear of the box, where the speaker is, is covered in vinyl. From there up it is covered in plastic from a console I bought at PEP-BOYS. lol. The box is meant to look like a regular car console, and it does. It has four cup holders and two compartments to hold stuff.

tidal18's 1965 Chevrolet Corvair The two compartments were lined with black vinyl to keep things from rattling in the console. In the back, you can see the two nuts to attach the wires from the amp.

MORE PICS TO COME of the actual install.

Well that's it. If you like it, please leave a rating. If you have any questions you can e-mail me at gaffney@telebot.com or leave a message on my message board.
