So just a quick update (Feb 11th 2007)
The Tracker has been basically sitting around and im looking for parts. I need the two front CV axles and a starter. THe junkyard is the way to go but Nova Scotia has the most expensive tuition in Canada and Im trying to save money and get it fixed so i can take it to MAINE, USA for my last year of school. It will be my daily driver so its going to be overhauled during the summer with some re-gearing for the highway. If anyone knows where i can find bigger gears for my axles let me know so i can hit 120kmh again!!

I finally figured out the math that gives me my actuall speed in KPH. You take the indicated speed, and multiply it by 1.179 and thats almost exact. Thats with a 12 inch increas over stock!!!

Sorry I haven't been updating lately. I have moved and am getting into crunch time in college. on top of all of this I am now painting the Tracker. I will have pictures up of the paint. I am Also going to re-do the entire page with a new(ish) layout. This is not going to be a $1500.00 paint job however, Im keeping in line with my "Real World Budget Build" Theme. Im painting the Tracker Black to cover up the dents and dings with the spray can paint. That way when i get some more damage (which i will) it will be easy to fix.
In other news with the Over haul this spring, im throwing new gears in the rear axle, and a Locker. Also in the works, the front springs are going in and new rancho shocks all around. My clutch is also pretty much shot, so im replacing that with a heavy duty one. And I am also replacing the front right CV axle. It seems like a bit but thats off roading for you.
Remember to keep checking back as the pics will be coming up soon. You will also notice (if you have been on this site before) that I have removed a shit load of pictures. I decided on one really wants to see pictures of it sitting around. The best pictures are up now. I will get Trail ones on soon.
