This is my 1979 VW Dasher, 1.5L Turbo Deisel. My Granddad completly restored this car in the mid 90's. I currently use it as my second car. Everyone asks me what is on the hood, It is the air intake for the Turbo. If you have any info on 1979 Dasher's please send it to me at sd@sgds.cnchost.com . thanks
