rust damage on the A piller that goes underneath the windsheild.. the windsheild itself is sealed properly, the rust underneath the windsheild is allowing water in..

any pointers?

very disturbing for an orignal California Vehicle.. Definatly a factory screwup in my opinion.. They missed the area when they seam sealed the chassis.. Debris built up under the windsheild trim for 21 years and wallah.. This is what ya have.. :(

Really puts a damper on a project when you have to focus on crap like this.. Oh well.. I guess ya have to expect things like this for a 20+ year old vehicle.. It was free.. cant complain too much.. Its been a fun project vehicle and Ive learned some good stuff so far..

11-21-05 Update on rust spot..

all fixed

big thanks to Chris Valverde for the repair job..

Sweet man, at my Grandfathers shop, he has a customer selling a 84 Scamp with the GT package. But yours is really nice!
