Its time to take things a little more serious in the power department..
For now Im going to be using a stock 1985 Daytona turbo Z engine and using a late model style induction system from a 89 Shelby Daytona.. The 85 engine is a bit better than the 86/87's that were filled with those crappy LW rods..
The 85 T1 is basically a T2 bottom end setup minus the forged crank and cross drilling..
The 85 rods are press fit vs the T2 floating pin style rods.. Just as beefy tho..
I purchased a 20K mile old rebuild engine for it that came with a 85 Daytona turbo Z around it..
car is pretty trashed and has some frame damage due to someone jumping it..
trust me when I say the pictures do it justice!
Cliff Ramsdell Custom Hybrid 555 transmission..
This has a 3:50fd, Cromoly end plate and a T-Trac posi block setup with stock side gears and its been fully gonethrough and redone.. This thing is gonna kick ass!
Thanks Cliff!!!! ;)
I found a guy on Ebay that does powdercoating and emailed him on the side askin how much he'd charge to do up my intake and valve cover.. He agreed to do it and went above and beyond the call of duty on his detailed prep and coating work..
Check these bad boys out! :)
this color is hard to take a picture of.. Its seriously one of those pictures dont do it justice colors.. Very vibrant and rich! Its called Candy blue..
87 Shelby Charger gas tank and a 90 TBI omni fuel pump hanger for it on the shelf someplace :)
Ive got a 88 SMEC wiring harness in a box.. its just a bunch of wires.. not worth a picture :) its in perfect condition...

Got my turbo back from www.TurbosUnleashed.com
The turbo was done up with a HD full rebuild, balancing and quick spool option and their infamous 3" swingvalve!
very nice! I cant wait to run it..
The last turbo I had him do for me was flawless and at only 7psi shot me a 15.2 with stock fuel system and all that stuff on my GLHS.. This is definatly the only place to go..
