This is my 1989 Telstar Tx5 nicknamed "The Hellstar".
Unfortunatley she is a non-turbo but hopefully once she's been paid for ill be getting one. I just put a new pod filter (K&N) with a custom intake running from the front of the car, 2.25" cat-back exhaust with cannon muffler. and replaced the spark plugs and leads.
I’ve been taking her to a few dirt roads to have a little thrash and is great!! It does awesome handbrakies!
I have replaced the stock sound system with a Sony Xplod mp3 player running 130 watt 4” fronts, 240 watt 6.5” in the back and a 600 watt 12” pioneer sub. The rear speakers and sun run thanks to a 4 chan 400watt Clarion amp.
I built my own custom cabinet under the cd head unit so stuff doesn't keep falling out from there. It took some time but in the end it looks good. I used some plastic from the front part of a glove box and cut it to size.
Every car must have some sort of RICE:D
I have also placed some 100 watt monza driving lights for when I’m out rallying at night it makes a hell of a difference!
After a hard days work in the mud...
It was 4 times worse when I left the track that day the car was stained brown :D
The next project: Extractors and high flow kittie (Too expensive for me to put a turbo on even tho id love the boost), ECU mod chip and heaps of other things!

Hey mate, just some advice with that pod filter. It looks cool, but with that exhaust it is probably going to get police attention. It is a defect in case you didnt know, and i really dont think getting defected for an air filter is worth the time and money in getting it cleared and paying the fines (if u get one). I know this because i also have a white telstar with an exhaust and a pod filter. Thats just a heads up.
Cheers buddy
