This is one modification you don't want to do. My 2004 G35 I bought in December 2003 is totaled with 7,800 miles on it. $23,500 damage. I fell asleep while driving in June. I replaced it with my 2004.5 G35 I bought in July 2004.
I was lucky and had no serious injuries. The SRS and seatbelt pre-tensioner worked great. Both Front Impact, Driver Side Impact, and Driver Curtain Side-Impact air bags deployed.
