OK. I only decided to post pictures of my car on this site because of the lack of Lamborghini pressence.
My car is a 1988 Lamborghini Jalpa #411 out of 420 built from 1982 through 1988. I bought the car last October (2003) and am in the process of restoring the car back to new condition. I believe I am the 5th owner, but the historical records are gone so it is hard to trace back to the original owner. I will post more information about myself and the car at a later time as I am new here and will learn a little about the site before I do much else.
I have since bought two (2) yes two more Jalpas; a 1988 and a 1985. You may ask why I bought anther Jalpa instead of a Countach. Well a Jalpa is a very simple and easy car to care for. A countach is a very complex, hard, and expensive car to care for. Also once you have driven this "little" bull you will be hooked too. The other 1988 is undergoing a complete restore similar to this car and will be drivable soon. The 1985 is a parts car in very good shape... it is missing the entire engine and trans, but otherewise is in great shape.
Thanks for looking,
David
I am not sure why people think this is a front wheel drive or a fake. This is a mid mounted engine (i.e. in front of the rear axle) with REAR wheel drive. The first All wheel drive Lamborghinis were the LM and Diablo.
