Strut bar doesnt always have to be on top of the strut. Basically the reason of having a strut bar is to minimise chasis roll during hard corner. If u realise, the chasis twist(very minimum) whenever u make a turn. For Aveo, the strut bar is to be position like this because its not having same design like other car. Pls read up more about strut bar uses. Unless u r trying to say u can do better than S-U-MM-I-T.... with due respect dude..

oh im sorry i didnt notice that you had a REAL STRUT BAR...maybe you could post a picture of what a real one should look like....you didn't have to be an A about it, considering im trying to get parts done for this car. Plus I don't care if you think the bar doesnt work because the bar does the exact same thing as a strut bar, it stops the towers from moving when doing hard turns, unless you're telling me that the struts are going to crush or rip the metal between it and my strut bar, otherwise those struts aren't going to move. Just because the mount doesn't encircle the strut doesn't mean it isn't a strut bar, but it will be even more rigid when I can work out some tie bars underneath
