I purchased this cougar as my first car in 2001. The first modification to be done were the mufflers. The ones on the car were rusted so I installed a set of flowmasters. The car was driven for two years until I hit 198,000 miles and the beginning of college approached. The motor was changed from the standard output 5.0 to a high output from a lincoln lsc. It now has ported e7 heads, a mass air conversion and cold air induction.
September 2005 -the car has headers and an off road h-pipe.
December 2005- Polished Cobra upper and lower intake manifold with Cobra valve covers.
The interior remains stock as the car is equipped with almost all of the factory options. These include power moonroof, dual power seats, power mirrors, power windows, power locks, cruise, premium 6 speaker stereo, automatic headlight dimmer, keyless entry, full digital dash with fuel milage calculator, automatic termperture control, and a full leather interior.
